The audio files are .wav, how do I play it on my Windows computer?

To open .wav audio files on Windows please follow these simple steps.

Connect the device to your computer

-> Open This PC (or My Computer)

-> Open KL130 Disk -> Open RECORD folder

-> Right Click on the audio file

-> Select Open With

-> Click Windows Media Player.

How to record audio?

Before initiating audio recording, ensure that your recording device is adequately charged. Subsequently, switch on the device by turning the switch button to the "On" position. The light indicator will flash thrice to indicate that the recording has commenced and will subsequently shut off, continuing to record audio in silence. To preserve the audio file, revert the switch to the "Off" position, and the device will automatically save the recording.

How do I know if the audio I just recorded is saved?

Upon concluding the recording session, kindly switch the device to the "Off" position, and it will automatically store all the recorded audio files.

How do I save audio files on my laptop/computer?

To preserve the audio files, utilize the cable that accompanies the package to connect the recording device to your computer or laptop. After establishing a connection, open the KL130 Hard Disk and navigate to the "RECORD" folder, where all your recorded files should be stored.

Then you can copy the audio files by select them and drag them onto your desktop.

The “Va” position on
your device works like the “On” position, but it will only record audio if it
can detect voices nearby.

How do I update time stamp for my audio files?

1. On your Windows PC
open "This PC"

2. Open K130 Hard Disk

3. Open
Windows-SetTime folder

4. Run
"SetTime.exe"

Finish!

----For MAC

1. Open the
MacOS-SetTime folder and click timeset TXT document "timeset.txt".

2. Click the date
"10:13 2021/11/8", change to your current date/time, then click

"File" and
select "Save"

3. Then, copy the
“timeset .txt ” file outside of the SetTime folder. Turn on the recorder to "On" position, the recorder will automatically read time and update time.

*Note:

4. The “timeset .txt ”
document must be moved outside of the "RECORD" folder, then the synchronization time will work.

5. Please back up
SetTime folder onto your Mac

How do I delete audio files on the device?

To delete the audio files, utilize the cable that accompanies the package to connect the recording device to your computer or laptop. After establishing a connection, open the KL130 Hard Disk and navigate to the "RECORD" folder, where all your recorded files should be stored.

Then you can select the audio files you want to delete, right click and Delete them.

How to Playback on Laptop, PC?

My computer cannot recognize the device, why?

Make sure to use the Micro USB that came with the device.

If not, make sure to use a “Data” Micro USB. If you use a Micro USB that only charges, the computer will not recognize the device.

How to delete a recording file off the device?

Connect the device to a computer using Data Micro USB

  1. Select USB DISK (D:) – Note the letter “D” could be different on your computer
  2. Click on the file “RECORD”
  3. Right click on a recording file and click “Delete”
